I am an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), a Certified EMDR Therapist, an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and an EMDR Consultant in Training (CIT). I specialize in treating attachment trauma caused by childhood emotional neglect. 

My goal as a therapist is to help clients develop healthier habits, gain awareness, learn healthy coping skills, and heal trauma, using Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and training in Mindfulness techniques, and Ayurvedic Breath work. I would consider myself a solution-focused therapist. 

Using Mindfulness skills and Ayurvedic Breath work techniques, you'll learn healthier daily habits. You'll learn self soothing techniques, that when practiced over time, can repair areas of the brain impacted by trauma. Mindfulness skills and Ayurvedic Breath work techniques can help reduce stress levels, improve emotional reactivity, improve focus, and improve ones ability to cope with distressing thoughts and situations.

Many of my clients report improvements after just one EMDR session. 

I offer EMDR Intensives to clients who want accelerated healing. An EMDR Intensive can run several hours in length. In this extended session, we can cover the equivalent of weeks to months of EMDR. Ask about this and read more about it on my EMDR Page
